Every 4th of July, my family gathers at my Mom and Dad’s house to eat good food and watch great fireworks.  A new tradition that I started a couple of years ago, is to capture the amazing firework show.  My parents live on the lake and just up the cove is a little yacht club.  They purchase and set off quite a show every year. This year, while waiting for the festivities to begin, I grabbed the above shot.  I just happened to look through my lens and there it was … home sweet home! I love the dock because it isn’t fancy, they don’t own a large expensive boat … just a couple of little fishing boats, but it’s home.  It’s rugged and yet peaceful.  This place will always have a special place in my heart.  It is indeed … home!
